Born in Germany in 1963, Peer Piechnik, a creative Director of the leading interior design company PP-Design, is an internationally recognized interior designer and specialist in light architecture field. Having recently expanded operations to Thailand, Peer's unique architectural concepts and mood lighting bring the latest creative German interior design and technology to the region with an overwhelmingly positive response from the country's prestigious property developers. Peer graduated in 1992 after 5 years in Berlin University with a diploma in Construction engineering and immediately, and went on to run his own successful construction company for 12 years, designing and constructing artistic interiors for exclusive homes and offices. Following further study in structural engineering, Peer became qualified in 2000 to conduct structural surveys and became a reliable authority on structural surveys for legal reports presented in court cases. As Peer's expertise in architecture and appropriate combinations of unique construction materials has grown, he has become a leading internationally recognized interior designer, specializing in creating artistic and mood altering environment for homes and workplaces with "Light Architecture". Peer's innovative approach to light architecture won him an award in the Interzum 2005 Fair with his "Crystal Light Tree" design and he has developed a totally unique and exclusive range of "spectral mood lighting" table and wall lamps that can instantly transform the ambiance of a room from subdued and tranquil to fiery and energetic with interactive "light play" functions that change the brightness, blend of colors and patterns of light play.
