Some may find this light a little larger than usual but it does throw a good wide beam when centred about 5 metres in ahead of your front wheel. 12000LM is an exaggeration but still good enough for night racing. The battery case only has one Velcro strap to fasten it to the bike frame which is not ideal and the first time I separated the velcro, the stitching came apart. All in all still a good buy.
